| Abstract

| [Objective] To study the proective effect of Jiuxin capsule against hypoxia and blood endothelium injury by low density lipoprotein(LDL).[Methods] Hypoxia and blood endothelium injury were induced in cell culture in vitro. The influence of Jiuxin capsule on adhesion molecule-1(VCAM-1) and intercellular adhesion molecule-1(ICAM-1) in blood endothelium was observed with immunohistochemistry.[Results] The expression of VCAM-1 and ICAM-1 was obviously increased in the hypoxia or LDL state. The Jiuxin capsule may obviously down-regulated this expression.[Conclusion] The Jiuxin capsule may protect the endothelium cell against injury induced by hypoxia and LDL. |
