| [Objective] To determine the content of Periplocin and 4-methoxysalicylic aldehyde in Cortex Periplocae simultaneously.[Methods] The determination was carried out by HPLC on ODS chromatographic column,using acetonitrile-water(27:73)as the mobile phase at 220 nm.[Result] The calibration curve was linear within the range of 0.05～1.6 μg(r=0.999 4)for periplocin and 0.23～7.4 μg(r=0.999 3)for 4-methoxysalicyl aldehyde.The precision of the two constituents was 1.3% and 2.5%,the reproducibility was 1.4% and 2.8% and the spotting recovery rate was 100.2% and 99.8% respectively.[Conclusion] This method is convenient and accurate.It can be used to determine periplocin and 4-methoxysalicylic aldehyde simultaneously. |
