| Abstract

| Polydipsia was mostly belongs to diabetes. It was recognized that yin-deficiency was the origin and the dryness-heat the superficiality in pathogenesis. In contrast, we considered that yin-deficiency wasn’t really the basic pathogenesis of polydipsia but only a common pathologic course of it. Yin-deficiency syndrome was resulted from polyuria. This article discussed the pathogenesis of diabetes based on polyuria. |
