Abstract
    The author surprisingly found that the Treatise on Exogenous Febrile Diseases was really the essence based on the research of syndrome-based medicine(SBM) after learning the method of SBM research and recollecting the development of TCM. The article provided the optimum evidence for diagnosis of diseases based on syndrome-differentioatioin of the six meridians system on three directions:establishing syndrome-differentiation of the six meridians system: popularizing and using the most optimum and appropriately evaluating the clinical curative effect. ZHANG Zhong-Jing created the ancient SBM research based on modern SBM research and integrated their individual experiments with acquired the best exterior evidence based on modern SBM study principle. Treatise on Exogenous Febrile Diseases provided the optimum principle of treatment, diagnosis, evaluation for the later generations.
