| [Objective] To observe the different effect on the Quality of Life(QOF)in patients with malignant tumour during the metaphase of advanced stage between two kinds of treatment of Chinese herb and Chinese herbs combined with chemotherapy to provide a scientific basement for the choice of different treatment.[Methods] Thirty patients with malignant tumour in metaphase or advanced stage were divided randomly into 2 groups.One group was treated with Chinese herb,AiDi injection and HuangQi injection and the other with the same Chinese herbs combined with the general chemotherapy.The change of KPS,body weight,tumour size,clinical symptom and QOL after 2 periods of treatment was observed.[Results] The treatment of Chinese herbs had more efficiency in improving KPS than the other treatment(P<0.05).The body weight of the group treated by Chinese herbs was higher than the other group(P<0.05).The two therapeutics had no statistical difference in controlling the tumour focus(P>0.05).But they had statistical difference in improving the clinical symptom(P<0.05).The Chinese herds group had also more efficiency in the increasing of the score of QOL-C30 than the other group(P<0.05).[Conclusions] The therapy of Chinese herbs can be independently used in treating the patients with malignant tumour in metaphase and advanced stage. |
