| [Objective] To observe the clinical effect and explore the mechanism of Huoxue(promoting blood circulation)Jeidu(detoxication)in treating chronic bronchitis.[Methods] The control group was treated with routine western medicine alone and the treatment group was with TCM and western medicine for four weeks.Before and after treatment the symptom of patients was recorded and the hemorheology and pulmonary ventilation function of all patients were measured and then followed-up for six months.[Results] The excellence rate and total effective rate in the control group were 40.5% and 67.1% and that in the treatment group were 53.3% and 91.4% respectively.The total effective rate between two groups had significant difference(P<0.05).The treatment group was better than the control group in decreasing the blood viscosity and improving the pulmonary ventilation function.[Conclusions] Promoting blood circulation and detoxication method can increase the comprehensive curative effect in treating chronic bronchitis. |
