| The diaphoretic therapy is a method directed against exterior syndrome and is a routine but not the only therapy for Taiyang disorder.In treating,the principle of strengthening vital QI to eliminate pathogenic factors should be followed,the patients should be taken as the foundation of vital function and through regulating the functions of whole body to increase the disease-resistant ability.All the eight therapeutic methods,diaphoresis,emesis,purgation,mediation,heat-clearing,warming,resolving and nourishing therapy,have the function to expel superficial evils.To expel pathogens from superficies with the eight therapeutic methods expresses thoroughly the extreme flexibility in treating disease with TCM. |
