Abstract
[Objective] To observe the effect of Xinshukang on myocardium protein kinase expression of rats with increasing pressure load and explore the mechanism of preventing and curing left ventricular hypertrophy in hypertension.[Methods] The myocardial hypertrophy in rats was established with increasing pressure load by ligating partly renal artery and the weight index of left ventricle and the expression of myocardium protein kinase were observed.[Results] The LVMI% of model group was obviously higher than that of normal group(P<0.01). However,the LVMI% of Xinshukang group was obviously lower than that of model group and Captopril group(P<0.01). The myocardium protein kinase expression (PKC) was highly expressed in model group. The PKC of Xinshukang group was more decreased than that of model group(P<0.05) and It was also less than that of Captopril group(P<0.01).[Conclusions] Xinshukang may decrease the high expression of myocardium protein kinase in rats with increasing pressure load and reverse the left ventricular hypertrophy.
