| Abstract

| [Objective] To investigate the medication condition of Cortex acanthopanacis in the retail drugstores in Tianjin.[Methods] Taking periplocin from perploca sepium as the index of component the content determination and qualitative differentiation were carried out with HPLC method and TLC method.[Results] Among thirty-two samples,thirty-one were identified as perploca sepium and one was cortex acanthopanacis.[Conclusions] There is a phenomenon that perploca sepium was misused as Cortex acanthopanacis in some retail drugstores in Tianjin. |
