Abstract
    [Objective] To research the relationship between Type of syndrome of TCM and conditions of tongue and pulse and parameter of liver function in acute jaundice viral hepatitis.[Methods] Two hundred and seventy-eight patients with acute jaundice viral hepatitis were divided into syndrome of heavy heat and light damp,syndrome of heavy damp and light heat and syndrome of heavy damp and heat according to the differentiation of syndromes of TCM.Their tongue demonstrations and pulse tracings have been recorded respectively,and their liver functions determined.[Results] The amount of total bilirubin of patients with syndrome of heavy heat and light damp was higher than those of patients with syndrome of heavy damp and light heat.The amount of albumin of patients with pink tongue was higher than those of patients with crimson tongue.The level of γ-GT of patients with greasy fur was higher than those of patients with thin fur.The amount of AST of patients with taut pulse was higher than those of patients with slippery pulse.[Conclusions] Some correlation have existed between type of syndrome of TCM and conditions of tongue and pulse and parameter of liver function in acute jaundice viral hepatitis.
