| Abstract

| [Objective] To observe the therapeutic effect of Jianing(calming thyroid) Prescription in treating hyperthyroidism with hyperactivity of liver-yang and blood stasis and phlegm coagulation.[Methods] Thirty-one patients consisting with above diagnosis were enrolled into the treatment group treated with Jianing Prescription.After a treatment course of eight weeks the therapeutic effect was compared before and after therapy.[Results] Jianing Prescription could effectively improve the parameters T3,T4,FT3,FT4,TSH and so on in patients with significant difference before and after treatment(P<0.05).The prescription had also effect of transforming the positive TSAb to negative.[Conclusions] Jianign Prescription has satisfactory effect in treating hyperthyroidism with hyperactivity of liver-yang and blood stasis and phlegm coagulation.It can improve the thyroid function,regulate the immunology without adverse effect. |
