Abstract
|
[Objective] To explore the physical signs for qualitative diagnosis in vascular dementia with obstruction of collaterals by blood stasis and provide a mathematic statistical evidence for TCM differentiation of physical signs. [Methods] A investigation table of physical signs in TCM for vascular dementia was established. Using unconditional logistic stepwise regression screening for the physical signs of obstruction of collaterals by blood stasis a model of differentiation diagnosis for physical signs of syndrome of obstruction of collaterals by blood stasis in vascular dementia was reproduced and the influence of each physical signs on the qualitative diagnosis obstruction of collaterals by blood stasis was observed. [Results] It was found that dark of helix and periocular tissue and darken lip had important effect on the qualitative diagnosis of obstruction of collaterals by blood stasis in vascular dementia. [Conclusions] The study is beneficial not only for the objective investigation of diagnostic standards of the syndrome of blood stasis and also for that of other syndrome in TCM. |
