| Abstract

| [Objective] To observe the curative effect and safety of Fengshizhengtong (antinociceptive from rheumatic disease)Pills in treating ankylosing spondylitis (AS). [Methods] Patients with AS in treatment group were treated by Fengshizhengtong Pills and those in control group by Sulfasalazine. The course of treatment was three months. [Results] The total effective rate of treatment group was 86.7% and that of control group was 50.0%. The improvement rate of morning stiffness in treatment group was obviously higher than that in control group. [Conclusions] Fengshizhengtong Pills is effective and safe and can be used to treat ankylosing spondylitis. |
