| [Objective] To investigate the therapeutic effect of Ditankaiqiao (waking up the patient from unconsciousness by clearing away phlegm) method for depression after brain apoplexy in aged patients. [Methods] Routine therapy was used in control group,while Ditankaiqiao (Pinellia rernata,Tangerine peel,Caulis bambusae in taeniam,Fructus aurantii immaturus,etc.)was added in treated group. [Results] Score with HAMD (Hamilton depression scale)was performed in both groups and nerve dysfunction was evaluated as well. Statistical analysis was used and taking P<0.01 as significant. [Conclusions] The treatment with integrated medicine can improve the symptom of depression after brain apoplexy,facilitating the recovery of nerve function and daily-life ability.. |
