Abstract
|
[Objective] To establish a new animal model with progressive tubulointerstitial injury (TⅡ) in rats with Mesenteric proliferative glomerulonephritis and observe the protective effect of Shenshuning (SSN). [Methods] After inducing of Mesenteric proliferative glomerulonephritis (MsPGN) the sick rats were allowed survived till 12th -16th weeks and so producing a model tubulointerstitial lesion naturally. With this model the protective effect of the herbal medicine SSN was observed. At the same time, benazepril served as control. [Results] The tubulointerstitial injury was aggravated gradually along with the extension of time in model of rats. SSN and benazepril could distinctly relieve the tubulointerstitial injury. [Conclusions] The model with tubulointerstitial injury has successfully been estalished in rats with mesenteric proliferative glomerulonephritis. The herbal medicine SSN has exhibited distinct protective effect against the tubulointerstitial injury. |
