| Abstract
|
| [Objective] To study the clinic influence of Baoyuan Huoxue(protecting vital QI and activating blood circulation) Granule in aged patients with deficiency of Qi and kidney by determining the level of CD11b/CD18 and bcl-2/bax.[Methods] Sixty such aged patients were randomly divided into two groups. Thirty patients in treatment group were treated with Baoyuanhuoxue granule and another 30 in control group received no treatment. The expression of CD11b/CD18 and bcl-2/bax before and after treatment in both groups was observed and analyzed.[Results] Baoyuan Huoxue Granule could reduce the level of CD11b/CD18(P<0.01),elevate the level of bcl-2/bax in the aged patients with deficiency of Qi and kidney (P<0.01).[Conclusions] Baoyuan Huoxue Granule may regulate the function of CD11b/CD18 and bcl-2/bax. This may probably one of the effect mechanism in treating aged patients with deficiency of Qi and kidney. |
