Abstract
[Objective] To observe the curative effect of traditional Chinese medicine in treating hyperprolactinemia.[Methods] Four hundreds and fifty-three patients with hyperprolactinemia(HPRL) were randomly divided into TCM treatment group(366 cases treated with Shugan(dispersing the stagnated liver-QI) Qingre(clearing away heat) Huatan(resolving phlegm) and ergolactin control group(87 cases). The change of blood prolactin(PRL),correlated hormone level and clinical symptoms and physical signs were observed and followed up.[Results] The total effect rate of treatment and control group was 94.8% and 94.2% respectively. The PRL level of two groups after treatment was obviously lower than that of before treatment. The FSH and E2 level of two groups after treatment was obviously higher than that of before treatment.[Conclusions] The curative effect of traditional Chinese medicine group has a same curative effect compared with that of ergolactin group in treating hyperprolactinemia. But traditional Chinese medicine has not adverse reaction and has lower recurrence rate than that of ergolactin group.
