| Abstract

| [Objective] To explore the curative effects of patients with pancreatic carcinoma related diarrhea based on the theory of Yin deficiency of spleen. [Methods] From January,1995 to June,2005 patients with pancreatic carcinoma related diarrhea were treated with the traditional Chinese medicine and conventional therapy. Thirty patients were randomly divided into treatment group and control group. The relation of total effective rate,symptoms integral,improvement rate and course of disease in patients of two groups was observed.[Results] The diarrhea disappearing time of treatment group was obviously shorter than that of control group(P<0.05). But there was no difference between total effective rate,symptoms scoring and course of diseases of the treatment and control group.[Conclusions] Traditional Chinese medicine based on the theory of Yin deficiency of spleen has obvious curative effect in treating patients with pancreatic carcinoma related diarrhea. |
