Abstract
|
[Objective] To evaluate the effect of high level of blood sugar on determined result obtained with high-speed instrument for blood sugar. [Methods] The pertinent articles were searched by internet from 1997 to 2007. The method in the Cochrane Reviewer’s Handbook 4.2.2 was used to evaluate the quality of the articles and analyze the data in them by using meta analysis method. The selected criteria of literatures was high blood sugar (>7.8 mmol/L) and belonged to RCT and CCT literature.[Results] The eight CCT literatures were selected and included nine hundreds and thirty-two patients. The selected literature had baseline comparability and the quality of literatures was low. Meta analysis found that there was statistical difference between the determined result of capillary and venous blood sugar (WMD=-0.98,(-1.40,-0.55)).[Conclusions] The determined result of high-speed blood sugar instrument is lower than that of automatic biochemistry analyzer on high blood sugar according to the evidence of selected literatures. |
