| From both the name and the etiology and pathogenesis of a disease the origin and development of the palpitation were explored. The onset of the disease was mostly contributed to weakness, improper diet and overtiredness, internal injury caused by excess of seven emotions, invasion of exogenous pathogen, etc. The pathogenesis of it included asthenia of healthy energy and state of evil domination. The asthenia of healthy energy was mainly the deficiency of qi, blood, yin and yang. The state of evil domination included fire-heat, phlegm evil, stagnated blood, etc. The asthenia of healthy energy and state of evil domination commonly appeared in the course of palpitation. Therefore the treatment of palpitation must to differentiate the syndrome to search the etiology and judge the cause to treat. |
