This edition has only 20 volumes and has no preface and postscript. No one knows who has carved it and when it was published. But we have recognized by the word or phrase avoided to use that Newly Carved Qianjin Fang by Saint Sun was performed before 1064. And it was known that before the Beiji Qianjin Fang(Thousand Golden Prescriptions for Emergency) was published in 1006, the circulated edition at that time was just the Newly Carved Qian Jin Fang by Saint Sun.
