| Abstract

| [Objective] To observe the effect and mechanism of Shenqi compound prescription on abnormal lipid metabolism in GK rats.[Methods] According to plasma glucose levels, the rats were randomly divided into normal group; Shenqi compound prescription(high dosage and low dosage)group; normal control group and Ramipril group respectively. After treatment for 30 days, the fasting plasma glucose(FPG), body weight, floating fatty acid(FFA), glycation serum protein(GSP) and various blood lipoproteins, such as total cholesterol(TC), total triacylglycerol(TG), high-density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C), Low-density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C), including the dense and small LDL in serum were determined.[Results] Shenqi compound prescription had effect of regulating plasma glucose and obviously improving the rat’s abnormal lipid metabolism (P<0.05 or P<0.01).[Conclusions] Shenqi compound prescription may regulate and improve the abnormality of lipid metabolism in natural diabetes rats, descend the plasma glucose level. |
