| Abstract
|
| [Objective] To observe the curative effect of TCM in treating cold urticaria. [Methods] One hundred and thirty patients were randomly divided into the treatment group (oral administration of TCM) and control group (oral administration of Yiyisiding tablet). The treatment course was four weeks and the patients were followed-up for two months. [Results] Thirty patients were fully recovered, 24 cases significantly cured, 10 cases improved and 6 cases were ineffective in treatment group; while in control group the excellent effect was obtained in 10 cases, significantly cured in 22 cases, improvement in 12 cases and ineffectiveness in 14 cases. The healing rate between both groups was obviously differentiated (P<0.05). [Conclusions] The traditional Chinese medicine has a better curative effect in treating cold urticaria. |
