Abstract

It was considered that cerebral trauma may cause qi stagnation, deficiency of vital energy, qi prostration and functional disorder of entrails. The insufficiency of qi may cause body fluid retention, phlegm and turbid agglomeration and may deceive the upper orifices. The traumatic brain injury was a suddenly occurred disease and may result in qi disorder, blood failed to circulate in the vessels and stagnation of blood. The main pathogensis of acute stage of traumatic brain injury was deficiency of vital energy and stagnation of blood and aural obstruction of the brain. The treatment principle of acute stage of traumatic brain injury was invigorating vital energy and dissolving blood stagnation and enlightening aural obstruction. |
