Abstract
|
[Objective] The inhibitory effect of indirubin on cell growth was studied in some human tumor cell lines relating with cyclin-dependent kinases(CDK) or Src kinase. [Methods] The cell growth, such as leukemia cell line(K562), gastric cancer cell line, lymphoma cell line, uterine cervix cancer cell line, promyelocyte leukemia cell line(HL-60), carcinoma of gallbladder cell line, hepatocarcinoma cell line, hilar cholangiocarcinoma cell line was proved inhibited by indirubin using clone cell culture method. The influence of indirubin on the K562 cell line, the gallbladder cancer cell and hilar cholangiocarcinoma cell line was observed with MTT method. [Results] The inhibitory effect of indirubin was verified extensively in some cancer cell growth. [Conclusions] Indirubin and its derivatives may become the new anti-tumor medicine for therapy of cancers that have CDK, Src kinase. |
