Abstract

[Objective] To explore the effect mechanism of acupuncture.[Methods] SAMP10 was used as model mouse and SAMR1 as normal control mouse.Western blotting technique was used to monitoring the difference of age-related p38 expression in neocortex and hippocampus between R1 and P10.The effect of YiqiTiaoxue and FubenPeiyuan acupuncture on the protein expression in 8-month old P10 brain was observed.[Results] The p38 expression had a stable age-related uprising tendency in the neocortex and hippocampus of R1 control.In P10,p38 expression exhibited an fluctuating age-related uprising tendency.These changes occurred at 4 to 6 month old and went on at the following months.In the hippocampus and neocortex of 8-month old P10,p38 expression exhibited a higher level than that of R1.The acupuncture of YiqiTiaoxue and FubenPeiyuan could reverse the difference mostly,the non-points group had no the same effect.[Conclusions] There is a difference in p38 expression in the same part of the brain between P10 and R1.The period of age-related changing is very approximate in the p38 expression and the onset of age-accelerated characters.The acupuncture of YiqiTiaoxue and FubenPeiyuan can effectively down-regulate the high level expression of p38 in 8-month old P10. |
