Abstract
|
[Objective] To explore the protective effect of Da-huang Huo-ling decoction on kidney collogen Ⅰand Ⅲ expression in rats with chronic renal failure induced by adenine. [Methods] The chronic renal failure was induced with adenine. They were divided into treatment medicated group and prevention medicated group. The kidney function, pathologic change of renal tissue and platelet derived growth factor (PDGF) expression, collagen Ⅰ and collagen Ⅲ expression were determined. The effect of Da-huang Huo-ling decoction on rats with chronic renal failure was observed. [Results] The pathologic changes of the treatment group and prevention group were less than that of the control group. Blood Urea Nitrogen (BUN), creatinine and uric acid were lower than that of model control group (P<0.05). The kidney collogen Ⅰand Ⅲ expression of prevention group was obviously reduced comparing with the control group(P<0.05). The kidney collagen Ⅰand Ⅲ expression of treatment group was not different obviously when compared with that of model control group(P>0.05). [Conclusions] Da-huang Huo-ling decoction has protective function against chronic renal failure in rat caused by adenine. Its effect mechanism may be restraining of the hyperplasia of kidney interstitial fibrous tissue by reducing the expression of kidney collagen Ⅰand Ⅲ. |
