Abstract
|
[Objective] Detected the superoxide dismutase (SOD), peroxidase (POD) activities and the germination percentage of the seeds of Bupleurum chinense in different years. And also analyzed the relations between them. [Methods] Used NBT and Methoxyphenol-H2O2 colorimetry to mensurate SOD, POD activities and germination percentage was detected by traditional germination technique. And also analyzed the relations between them by SPSS biostatistics software. [Results] The activities of antioxidant enzymes varied unremarkably (FSOD=0.356<F2,6,0.05, FPOD=4.675<F2,6,0.05)while the germination percentage was different evidently (F=5.211, *P<0.05)of the seeds of B. chinense in different years. They are positively correlated but unremarkable (RY,1,2=0.0027<R2,6,0.05). [Conclusions] Both SOD, POD activities and germination percentage decreased with the store time of the seeds prolonged. The antioxidant enzymes related the seed vigor of B. chinense but they are not the most important enzymes to the seed vigor of B. chinense disappear or not. |
