| Abstract

| [Objective] To research the clinical effect of Yiqiyangyin Huoxueqingli(benefiting vital Qi and nourishing YIN, Activating blood circulation and eliminating pathogens) method in treating chronic infection of urinary system. [Methods] Ninety-six patients were randomly divided into two groups: the treatment group and control group. The formers were treated with antibiotics and TCM therapy while those of control group with conventional antibiotic treatment. The curative effect after four weeks was evaluated. [Results] The total effective rate of treatment group was 93.75% and that of control group was 87.5% (P<0.05). The clinical symptoms, urine routine examination, bacteriuria and the counts of urine depositions were significantly improved. The curative effect of treatment group was higher than that of control group(P<0.05). [Conclusion] The TCM therapy has a good effect in treating chronic infection of urinary system. |
