Abstract
|
[Objective] To explore the mechanism of the Chinese herbal medicine having improving effect on the heart function in the model of rats with acute myocardial infarction(AMI). [Methods] The AMI was induced in rats by ligating the middle segment of left anterior descending coronary artery. The Chinese herbal medicine Xinfukang(XFK) and SalB were used to intervene the disease course of the rats. The rat’s heart function was examined, and the infarct size was evaluated with N-BT and the expression of PCNA and CD34 was examined by immunohistochemical method at the end of two weeks. [Results] The infarct area of each group was declined and the infarct thickness of each group was increased, the heart function was improved.(P<0.05). The consequence of PCNA, the amount of positive cells in the capillary vessels of each group were increased (P<0.05). The consequence of CD34, the amount of positive cells of each group were increased ( P<0.05). [Conclusion] In AMI rats, the Chinese herbal medicine can reduce the infarct area, increase the thickness of infarct ventricle, accelerate regeneration of blood vessel, promote the multiplication of cardiac muscle cells and improve the heart function. |
