Abstract
|
[Objective] To Observe the clinical effects of detoxification and dispelling dampness method on gout. [Method] 60 patients with gout were divided into two groups randomly. Thirty patients in treatment group were treated with Chinese herbs and 30 patients in control group with oral administration of allopurinol, nimesulide and sodium bicarbonate. [Result] The total effective rate was 93.35% in treatment group and 86.7% in control group without significant difference between both groups (P>0.05). There were significant difference in the level of serum uric acid between pre and post treatment in both groups (P<0.05), but no significant difference in post treatment in that parameter between two groups (P>0.05). [Conclusion] The method of detoxification and dispelling dampness has reliable therapeutic effect without significant adverse reaction. |
