| To study the pathogenesis of apoplexy based on the theory of phlegm and stagnant blood converting into toxicity. A systemic description was carried out from interrelation between phlegm turbid and stagnant blood, combining each other of phlegm and stagant was pathogenesis the backgroud of apoplexy, the toxic effect of ph1egm turbid and stagnated blood was the key point of onset of apoplexy. Clinically, the capital principles in treating apoplexy were clearing heat and detoxicating, promoting blood circulation to remove blood stasis and lowering plegm and eliminating turbid. The correlation between the toxic effect of phlegm stagnation and the onset of apoplexy was also discussed. |
