Effect of GongxueningⅡon the expression of IL-8 in ovaries of rats with induced ovulation |

Abstract
|
[Objective] To observe the effect of GongxueningⅡon the expression of ovaries IL-8 in rats with induced ovulation and explore the molecular mechanism in promoting follicular development and ovulation. [Methods] The female rats were randomly divided into model group, positive control group and GongxueningⅡhigh and low dosage group and they were individually administrated with distilled water, Ankunzanyu pills and GongxueningⅡfor fourteen days. The model of follicular development phase was established by injecting PMSG and the model of preovulatory phase was established by injecting HCG. The ovaries sections was prepared and determine the expression of ovaries IL-8 in rats with induced ovulation in diferent developmental phase immunohistochemically. [Results] The ovaries IL-8 of Gongxuening II group was obviously higher than that of model group on the area, area rate, IOD and MOD of folicular development phase and preovulatory phase (P<0.05 or P<0.01). The efect of Gongxuening II of high dosage group were obviously higher than that of low dosage and positive control group. The above indexes of follicular development phase was obviously higher than that of preovulatory phase in rats of every group (P<0.05 or P<0.01). [Conclusion] Gongxuening II can raise the expression of ovaries IL-8, attract and activate heterophil granulocyte and promote follicular development and ovulation. |
