Abstract
This article was selected from some wonderful descriptions about chanel and collateral in 11th chapter of the book "On human nature" written by Hippocrates. They are: 1) One channel (meridian) system consisted of four pairs of channels (meridians); 2) Points are located on this channel system; 3) Hippocrates calls his therapeutic technique as "blood-letting therapeutic technique". All the above were very important and very similar to acupuncture theory. It should be emphasized that the similarities between the Ancient Greek and traditional Chinese medicine were very important for the future work and research. The author hoped that after reading this article scholars in TCM would deeply study this correlation of these two cultures and find the close relationship much more than what we know mow.
