Abstract
    [Objective] To observe the correlation between syndrome type of deficiency and excess in patients with abdominal obesity and metabolic syndrome including lipids, blood glucose, blood pressure. [Methods] The patients with abdominal obesity was divided into deficiency syndrome, sthenia syndrome group, normal control group. [Results] The WHR, waist circumference, BMI of deficiency syndrome of abdominal obesity group has a increasing trends when compared with that of other group but no significant difference was found. The blood sugar, blood pressure, triglycerides in patients with deficiency syndrome of abdominal obesity group were significantly increased compared with that of sthenia group. The ratio of deficiency syndrome group was significantly higher than that of the sthenia group. [Conclusion] The blood fat, blood sugar and blood pressure levels of different type of abdominal obesity are significantly different that providing a favourable basis for prevention, treatment and prognosis outcome of abdominal obesity.
