| Abstract
|
| [Objective] To observe the influence of Needling and moxibustion on renal function in rats with chronic renal failure. [Methods] Chronic renal failure in rats was induced with intragastric infusion of adenine. The general situation, creatinine level, blood urea nitrogen and kidney tissue pathological level were observed. [Results] After treating for twenty-eight days, the creatinine and blood urea nitrogen were decreased obviously, and had significant difference compared with pretreatment. However, creatinine and blood urea nitrogen of needling group, moxibustion group and needling and moxibustion group had no significant difference compared with that of model group. The mean value of needling and moxibustion group was the most lowered. We could see from the renal pathology that needling and moxibustioning group can significantly reduce kidney tubular-mesenchymal damage, repair the renal tissue, improve the pathological state. [Conclusion] Needling and moxibustion may improve renal function and repair the damaged renal tissue. |
