| Abstract

| [Objective] To perform a textual research of the origin, varieties and clinical practice of Cynanchum paniculatum. [Methods] A comparative analysis was made through consulting ancient Chinese medicinal books and investigating the use of the herb at present. [Results] The kind of the herb used in the ancient time and now was identical. But the clinical practice now was broader than before. [Conclusion] Cynanchum paniculatum used in the ancient or modern time is Cynanchum paniculatum(Bge.) Kitag. |
