Abstract
|
[Objective] To explore the effect of Electroacupuncture to BMD in rats with glucocorticoid-induced osteoporosis.[Methods] Selected female Wistar rats of 3-month-old were randomly divided into three groups:Normal group, Model group, Electroacupuncturegroup.Three months later all the rats were scanned for BMD and observed on histology of Ovary and Adrenal by the light microscope.[Results] Electroacupuncture therapy could not only improve the BMD and BMC content of GIO in rat model, could also adjust histologyof Ovary and Adrenal.There were significant differences between Electroacupuncture group and model group (P<0.05).[Conclusion] Electroacupuncture is a good preventive treatment on Glucocorticoid-induced Osteoporosis. |
