Abstract
    The aim was to explore the relationship between raising or descending Qi and the gastroesophageal reflux disease.On the basis of observing the effects in treating patients with gastroesophageal reflux and adjusting the function of raising or descending Qi and reviewing the literature of traditional Chinese medicine, we concluded that gastroesophageal reflux had some relation with the disturbing ofthe function of the spleen, stomach and the liver and lung and adjusting the function of the raising or descending Qi had good effect on gastroesophageal reflux disease.
