Abstract
|
It is necessary to standardize the medicinal herbs so that they can be used for medical treatments.Both physical and physicochemical methods are required to establish the standard.The classes of standardization about each herb medicine was one of the index instandardization of manufactures, the classes of standardization about angelicae gigantis radix were divided five grades in China accordingto whole sizes, shape, colors, fragrance, taste and existence and nonexistence of foreign substances.The raw Angelicae Gigantis Radix wasused for this study, on the basis of Chinese standardization about angelicae gigantis radix, I divided them into three grades.The first gradewas 60 g or more, the second one is 20 g or more, and the third one is less than 20 g.The ratio of weights of body/whole weights in allgrade angelicae gigantis radix was more than 30%.Their surfaces was from yellowish brown to dark brown.None inferior goods was found.The inferior goods was rotten or empty or black-surface or brown section.The result from this study can be suggested as the model of thestandardization and the standard for grading Angelicae Gigantis Radix.Also, I expected to do further study on the cut herb.Then this canbe the reference index of the standardization of Chinese of herbs. |
