| Abstract
|
| [Objective] To explore the effects of Rheumatoid Arthritis No. 1 on expression of VEGF and COX-2 in synovial membrane in rats with adjuvant arthritis(AA). [Methods] The model of adjuvant arthritis was established in rats. After administration by Rheumatoid Arthritis No. 1,for 4 weeks the immunohistochemical method was used to detect the expression of VEGF and COX-2 in synovial membrane of rats. [Results] The expression of VEGF and COX-2 in Rheumatoid Arthritis No. 1 group was significantly decreased compared to the groups of model and tripterygium wilfordii(P<0.01). [Conclusion] Rheumatoid Arthritis No.1 can significantly inhibit the expression of VEGF and COX-2 in synovial membrane of rate with adjuvant arthritis, reduce the inflammation of knee joint. |
