| Abstract
|
| [Objective] To establish a stable and easy model of irritable bowel syndrome with diarrhea(IBS-D) in rats on the basis of improved traditional method. [Methods] The rats were randomly divided into some groups:the normal(N,without any intervention),the Folium Cassiae only(F,oral infusion with Folium Cassiae without restriction),the restriction only(S),the Folium Cassiae and restriction(F+S,oral administration folium cassiae plus restriction). We observed and recorded the general status, the body weight and passage everyday. [Results] All the groups were in a good status. Group F and F+S were higher in the percentage of the loose stools than that of other groups, and F+S was better(P<0.05). The other groups were lower in the percentage of the increased body weight than that of group N(P<0.01),and the growth tendency of group F+S was appeared as negative increasing obviously(P<0.01). [Conclusion] It is proved that the improved method can reproduce IBS-D in rats successfully. |
