Abstract
[Objective] To study on the relationship between elements of TCM syndromes and metabolism disorder of blood lipid in patients with acute cerebral infarction. [Methods] One hundred and sixty-six patients with ACI were collected, scored with elements of TCM Syndrome according to hospital patient information and detected the serum level of triglyeeride(TG), totaleholesterol(TC),Low-density lipoprotein (LDL-C),High density lipoprotein (HDL-C),Oxidized low density lipoprotein (Ox-LDL); The correlation between TCM syndromes and metabolism disorder of blood lipid was researched. [Results] The highest occurrence frequency syndromes was the wind syndrome, occupying 55.2%, the least occurrence frequency syndromes was yin deficiency syndrome, occupying 55.2%; Single elements of TCM syndromes had 31 cases, occupying 18.8%; Multiple syndromes had 118 cases, occupying 71.5%; There was a statistic difference in TC, LDL-C between female and male patients (P<0.05). There was a statistic difference in TG, LDL-C, Ox-LDL between patients more than 60-year in age and those less than 60-year-old. The wind syndrome was correlated to Ox-LDL, the fire-heat syndrome was negatively correlated with TG and the yin deficiency syndrome was correlated to TC. [Conclusion] There are ubiquity of metabolism disorder of blood lipid in the pathogenesis of acute cerebral infarction. And the correlation exists between elements of TCM syndromes and metabolism disorder of blood lipid. It can provides basis for revealing the pathogenesis of ACI.
