| Abstract

| [Objective] To explore the basis for comprehensive treatment in Western medicine combined with Qingkailing and compound Danshen injection on treatment of severe pulmonary heart disease (pulmonary heart disease). [Methods] Ninety eight cases of severe pulmonary heart disease were randomly divided into two groups, the observation group (50 cases) received conventional Western medicine combined with Qingkailing injection and compound Danshen injection and Western medicine only (48 cases) served as control group. The clinical effect was observed separately. [Results] The efficiency rate of treatment group (92.00%, n = 46) was higher than that of the control group (66.67%, n = 32) (P<0.05). The improvement of PaO2 and PaCO2 of treatment group was also markedly better than that of the control group (P<0.05). [Conclusion] The Western medicine combined with Qingkailing and compound Danshen injection is effective to severe pulmonary heart disease, the improvement of PaO2 and PaCO2 may be related to changing the heart, lung, blood, and blood vessel function. |
