Abstract
    [Objective] To discuss the effect of Tangfukang in declining the expression of ICAM-1 in rats with early diabetic nephropatly. [Methods] The rats were fed with Tangfukang, 3.5g/kg/d or 7.5g/kg/d. In the 12th week, the 12 hours urine of the rats was collected with the metabolic cage, the cardiac blood samples and the two kidneys were obtained and then the rats were killed. [Results] The high dose Tangfukang could decreased ICAM-1 of rats with early diabetic nephropatly (P<0.001). [Conclusion] Tangfukang capsule can remarkably improve the effect of the chemotaxis, adherence factor to the development of DN.
