| [Objective] To research the tendency of change of the tongue picture in differentiated treatment of TCM in patients with coronary heart disease (CRD). [Methods] The patients were divided into two groups:patients with insufficiency of heart Yin and patients with Qi deficiency and blood stasis. One week after treatment with TCM decoction and routine treatment of Western medicine the characteristic change of tongue body and tongue picture was observed. [Result] After treatment the quantitative factors in patients of these two groups had different change tendency. The blood oxygen saturation was elevated,the blood perfusion at the tongue tip tended to be increased,the comparative ratio of the color of the tongue body was changed,the level of water in the body was decreased in patients with Qi deficiency and blood stasis,while it was increased in patients with deficiency of heart Yin. The distance between group was decreased (P<0.01). [Conclusion] The tongue body,the information of tongue picture can reflect the disease’s different pathogenesis and the pathology stage and has a inevitable correlation with the differentiation of TCM. |
