Investigation on influencing factors of primary dysmenorrhea in 1800 female college students

Abstract
    [Objective] To investigate the onset and the influencing factors of dysmenorrhea in female college students for providing a basis for effective prevention and treatment. [Methods] We investigated 1 800 female college students from five colleges and universities in Tianjin with applying form of questionnaire survey and stratified random cluster sampling method. [Results] 1) The investigation showed that Among those female college students the overall incidence of dysmenorrhea was 77.94%. 2) The older of the age of menophania,the lower of the occurrence. 3) The single influencing factor included desiring for cold food and drinks,eating and drinking too much at one meal,too sensitive,aversion to cold,lower abdomen pain,desiring for cold food and drinks at menstruation period,menstrual appropriate sports,mother with dysmenorrhea,wet living room and so on. 4) the combined influencing factors were exercise,inheritance,related symptoms and sex life. [Conclusion] Primary dysmenorrhea in female college students has a higher incidence. All kinds of adverse biological factors and social factors can induce the occurrence of dysmenorrhea.
