Abstract
|
[Objective] To observe the clinical effect of integrative medicine therapy on acute massive cerebral infarction. [Methods] Seventy six cases were randomly divided into the observed group and the control group based on the same conventional therapy including reducing intracranial pressure, brain cytoprotection, antiplatelet aggregation, improving cerebral circulation and other symptomatic supportive treatment. The observed group underwent acupuncture treatment and Chinese herbal enema as well as the conventional therapy. The clinical effect was observed after treatment for 14 successive days. [Results] The total effective rate of the observed group was 73.7% and the control group was 52.7%; The data of two groups were dealt with statistics and showed evident difference (P<0 01). Compared with control group, points of the observed group on the neurological deficit scores were significantly decreased (P< 0.05). [Conclusion] The therapeutic effect of the integrated medicine therapy is superior to the Western medicine only on acute massive cerebral infarction. It can improve the nerve function of patients, reduce the mortality and reduce the complications. |
