Abstract
[Objective] To observe the curative effect of Tangniaokang in treating diabetes. [Methods] Sixty obesity-abnormal glucose tolerance patients were randomly divided into groups of Chinese medicine and food therapy. Both of the groups had diet control,the group of Chinese medicines were treated with Tangniaokang for six weeks and the effects were observed after 6 weeks and followed up for a month. [Results] The body weight,clinical symptoms and the OGTT time changes in blood sugar of Chinese medicines group was significantly different (P<0.05). [Conclusion] Chinese medicine Tangniaokang can be used as a effective primary prevention prescription of the treatment.
