| Abstract

| Peptic ulcer was one of the common clinical diseases with frequently-occurring and high recurrence rate. With the development of the modern medical techniques a satisfactory result was achieved about the healing of the peptic ulcer in the short term concrescence rate. But the problem of high recurrence rate remains to be solved. According to the endoscopic characteristics of active peptic ulcer it was found that the change was very similar with carbuncle. The author suggested that the Chinese medicine treatment of peptic ulcer would combine both treating peptic ulcer as carbuncle and the differentiated treatment. |
